Delta Lodge, Kananaskis, Alberta
October 2 - 4, 2012
Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the second conference in the Wildland Fire Canada conference series focused on forest fire management in Canada. The 2012 conference will be held at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis located in Kananaskis Country in south Alberta.
This conference provides a unique balance of presentations from forest fire managers and the scientific community. Our goal is to provide a forum for fire managers to exchange best practices with other fire managers and communicate emerging issues and needs to scientists.
We also provide an opportunity for scientists to present new research and models to forest fire managers and other scientists from a number of disciplines.
Set the bar high!
The conference series provide a great opportunity to foster cross-discipline collaboration by bringing together new researchers and graduate students to strengthen the fire science and research capacity in Canada. Building stronger connections and community among fire managers and science organizations will allow us to meet the challenges of the 21st century fire management.
